Michael Thomas graduated from the WA Screen Academy with a Bachelor in Media and Communications Majoring in Screen Studies in 2016, following two previous years studying at Mount Pleasant College and Central Institute of Technology (now known as North Metropolitan TAFE).
Since graduating, Michael has been continuing to develop his skills as a Cinematographer, Camera Assistant, and Editor specialising in commercials, branded content and narrative productions in locations across Australia and Asia/Pacific.
Michael is also a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society, holds a Remote Pilot Licence, and owns an array of professional equipment including a Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K Cinema Camera Kit.
Michael is passionate about collaborating with key creatives to help problem solve and bring visions to life to achieve the needs of clients and productions, and is always pushing himself to improve his skills.
